Intrecci

The collection is inspired by the interweaving as the basis for creating the object, which through the interconnection of the elements, as to form a solid whole. The elements are brought together to create a new resistant body. The interlace process generates two types of geometry: one with the elements in parallel as two orthogonal orders between them ( the mesh); the other uses the linearity and the overlaps of the elements to generate, thanks to the twist, a double curvature surface (the rope). With this ancient technique, through the use of raw materials like concrete (to reinterpret the rope) and bronze (for the net), we want to emphasize the contemporary nature of the object, recreating a new balance between two similar elements but with a completely different soul. One gives lightness while the other gives materiality.

The complex stylistic balance of this system of material overlapping is enclosed in the geometric perfection of the glass sphere..
